Garlic Prawns


1. Clean 1 kilo or 2 lbs of prawns and trim some of the appendages.
2. Chop 8 large cloves of garlic (finely).
3. Chop 2 stalks of leeks and a few slivers of ginger.
4. In a wok, heat ¼ cup of veg. oil and ¼ stick of butter.
5. Sauté the garlic and once almost brown add the ginger and the prawns.
6. Season with salt and pepper and add the leeks. Cook until done.
7. To add heat you may also sprinkle some red pepper flakes.

To serve, layer in an alternating pattern some sliced cucumber and carrots. Place the garlic prawns in the middle.
